Silent Night by Iron Orchid Designs is a limited edition nativity mould of exceptional beauty and detail. The central scene of the holy family gathered at the manger is rendered with the fine sculptural quality that IOD is celebrated for - gentle facial expressions, beautifully draped figures and a warmth and stillness that captures the spirit of Christmas perfectly.
Across the mould you will find a full collection of individual elements to use separately or build into a complete scene. A large angel with extraordinary feather detail on the wings, shepherds with their flock, individual sheep, stars in two sizes, and the nativity scene itself - every element cast with fine line relief work that paints and antiquates beautifully.
This limited edition mould measures 6" x 10" (15.2cm x 25.4cm) and is food safe, oven safe to 218°C / 425°F and BPA free. It features MicroRims™ for cleaner castings, Measure Marks™ showing both weight and volume, and Stack and Sort™ edge labels for tidy storage. Compatible with most casting mediums. When using resin a mould release spray is recommended to prolong the life of the mould.
Use with air dry clay or resin to create pieces that can be painted, antiqued and displayed year after year. The mould is also food safe and oven safe - perfect for creating nativity themed chocolates and biscuits for the Christmas table.
