Saltwash® can be mixed with any type or brand of paint. Use as a base coat and then paint a second coat of paint, without Saltwash®. Sand to obtain the effect of wear and tear caused by weather, sun and salt. For an even more patina effect, apply a coat of colourless wax followed by a dark or black wax.
115 gr (4 oz.) jar - covers about 0.50 m2 (0.50 sq. ft.)
115 grams of Saltwash® is enough to mix with about a quarter of a litre of paint and will cover +/- 0.50 m2.
A correct consistency will also allow you to use Saltwash on any shiny surface (plastic, metal, melamine, glass...).
