Hazel and Bay by Iron Orchid Designs is a limited edition botanical mould of real beauty and versatility. Two generous sprays of foliage fill the mould - one a sweeping branch of bay leaves laden with clusters of berries, the other a richly detailed hazel branch with leaves, buds and small pine cones nestled throughout. A smaller individual leaf cluster completes the collection, giving you a full set of botanical elements to work with.
The detail across both sprays is exceptional - every leaf vein, every berry and every bud is rendered with the fine relief work that IOD moulds are known for. Cast in air dry clay and painted or antiqued, these botanicals have the quality of carved wood or plaster - beautiful as furniture accents, Christmas decorations or year round home decor.
This limited edition mould measures 6" x 10" (15.2cm x 25.4cm) and is food safe, oven safe to 218°C / 425°F and BPA free. It features MicroRims™ for cleaner castings, Measure Marks™ showing both weight and volume, and Stack and Sort™ edge labels for tidy storage. Compatible with most casting mediums. When using resin a mould release spray is recommended to prolong the life of the mould.
Use with air dry clay or resin to create pieces that can be painted, antiqued and displayed season after season. The mould is also food safe and oven safe - perfect for creating botanical themed chocolates and biscuits.
