Cornucopias by Iron Orchid Designs is a limited edition mould of extraordinary richness and versatility. Inspired by a vintage cornucopia moulding and thoughtfully developed with additional detail, this mould celebrates the beauty of abundance and the warmth of the season in sculptural form.
The mould contains two cornucopias, each with beautifully rendered basket weave texture and elegant acanthus scroll flourishes at the opening. The two are designed to flank arrangements beautifully while maintaining their own unique character rather than being exact mirror images - a subtle and considered detail that makes compositions feel natural rather than mechanical. Each cornucopia overflows with abundance - chrysanthemums, pomegranates, pumpkins and corn cobs spilling from the basket weave horn, all cast with exceptional fine relief detail throughout.
Additional individual pomegranate elements give you further flexibility to create your own arrangements and extend the design beyond the cornucopias themselves.
This mould transitions beautifully from autumn harvest displays through to Christmas - equally at home on a festive mantle as it is on a Thanksgiving centrepiece or autumn decorated table. Use the elements individually or arrange them together for a truly spectacular seasonal display.
This limited edition mould measures 6" x 10" (15.2cm x 25.4cm) and is food safe, oven safe to 218°C / 425°F and BPA free. It features MicroRims™ for cleaner castings, Measure Marks™ showing both weight and volume, and Stack and Sort™ edge labels for tidy storage. Compatible with most casting mediums. When using resin a mould release spray is recommended to prolong the life of the mould.
Use with air dry clay or resin to create pieces that can be painted, antiqued and displayed season after season. The mould is also food safe and oven safe - perfect for creating seasonal chocolates and biscuits.
